Quinta da Odelouca  Campsite Quinta de Odelouca is a small rural campsite in the Algarve region, Portugal. The campsite is situated in the Ribeira de Odelouca river basin with beautiful views, far away from the crowded coastal strip, but still near all beaches and little towns. It is a spot to lay backwards, to experience the quietness and to walk around through the hills and along the many small rivers.

Alferce The municipality of Monchique has built a motor home and trailer campground in the village of Alferce to encourage campers to use the restaurants, cafes and bars in the village. It has a Sani Dump, Water and a BBQ picnic area. It is in a delightful location and is currently free to use.

Foia, the highest point in the Algarve at 902m above sea level, the council usually turn a blind eye to dry camping here as they do at the municipal market parking lot in the valley below the gardens.
